It has been a couple weeks since my last blog entry. Sorry for the delay...things have been a little busy with work, exercising and house cleaning. :-) We had a great weekend. We had two couples over from church on Friday night and I made ricotta and sausage pasta. It was so good. Probably the best homemade ricotta I have made yet. (my third time to make it) Saturday morning we got up early and went to downtown dallas for a service project. We cleaned and decorated a home for a single mom with three kids. The ministry is called interfaith housing coalition and they help homeless peoplewith children by providing them with a home and in return the homeless people have to have a fulltime job or work 40 hours a week to find a fulltime job. People donate dishes, beds, housing items and buy brand new things that they donate too. It was a fun experience. We went running, picked up my car from getting fixed and went to Tim and Mary Kathryns for dinner to watch the Tech vs. TX game. Becky and Keith came to dinner too. Sunday we taught 3rd grade...we had a new student Josef. He has a ton of energy and was quite a challenge to say the least. We will have to do a good job thinking of clever ways to keep him busy. He is behaved as long as you give him a task he has to focus on. :-) We went out to lunch with our young couples class and got to sit with the Rogers. Carrie and I talked all about babies the whole time since she is due October 8th and Amy is due the 17th. It was fun. I just got back from work and grocery shopping and am making taco salad for dinner. Yum! Love to all.
