Fun times...

Eric and I went to Emily's last night for dinner. It was so fun. She treated us to chicken tacos, homemade mexican rice, salad, chips and queso and sweet tea! She was a wonderful hostess and kept offering us dessert too but I was rather proud of myself that I did not give in to the temptation of mint cake, ice cream or smores. She also gave Eric and I some books to read...as I write Eric is curled up on the couch reading, "Run, Baby Run," one of the books from Emily. He can't put it down. :-) We are taking breakfast to sunday school and I have been trying to decide what to take. I think the consensus is french breakfast puffs and cheese chili. I think everyone will like them. Eric is off today and we have just been relaxing. So fun!

John and I when I went to visit Houston!
Eric and I at the Dallas Aquarium on Valentines!
Eric and I at Memes!!
Well....I just finished running. I was talking to Tom on the phone about the Rodeo Run and it motivated me to get out and run. Thanks Tom!!! I had a lazy day today....I did not get any sub calls so I went to lunch with Eric...Scott also came along. I have to say that I get alot of use out of the netflix Christmas present from the DeShans. I watched a movie called the North and South today and it was soooo good. It was also about 4 hours long! I am helping with Awanas for the first time tomorrow at out church and am very excited about it. I also just got a job for this Thursday subbing in a music classroom. I decided that instead of being worried I wont be good in the music classroom instead I am going to look at it as a challenge and try to conqueror it. Love to all....Amy and Emily especially since you are the only two who look at this. :-)

Blog beginnings....

With the Help of my sweet sister Emily I finally was convinced to make a blog. This "Whats Cooking" background inspired me. Plus, I was the only Dosch gal not to have one and I felt a little behind the times. I am so excited to be an Aunt.....Hopefully the little bundle of joy will be born on my birthday. Further news, Eric and I are headed to Houston for Pete and Amy's wedding.
